About Dr. Gupta

A surgeon who trains surgeons — and cares for each patient as if they were his first.

Subhas Gupta, MD, CM, PhD, FRCSC, FACS is an internationally recognized plastic and reconstructive surgeon, educator, and researcher who has served as Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University since 2004. He is a pioneer in complex reconstruction, skin substitutes, wound healing, and microsurgery.

After graduating from McGill University School of Medicine in Montreal, Dr. Gupta completed nearly a decade of postgraduate training — residency and fellowships in General Surgery, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Hand & Microsurgery, and Aesthetic & Laser Surgery — alongside a PhD in Medical Informatics. He has also served as Chief of Surgical Services and Surgical Chief Medical Officer at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Today his aesthetic practice focuses on facial rejuvenation and breast & body contouring, enhanced by technology-assisted techniques including endoscopic, laser, and ultrasound methods — with clinical offices serving patients across Loma Linda and the greater Inland Empire.
